IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
What to expect from a surfing lesson
We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before class starts so that we can check you in. It took us 5 minutes to put on the suit and go to the beach, where your instructor will start with an introductory class on land to explain the basic techniques (handling the board, getting up) and water safety. After that, we will go to the surf zone and start working to find your first wave! The rest of the class time will be spent surfing more waves, improving the technique, learning everything about surf etiquette and knowledge about the ocean.
